  • What Does an Author Do?

This workshops takes children through the exciting process of writing a book, from coming up with story ideas, creating characters and settings, writing the story, illustrations, sending it to a publisher and looking at how books are made. It will also include a book reading (or extract). The workshop will be adapted to suit the age range of each group.

  • How to Write a Story

Using different prompts, students will learn how to write their own story. From coming up with a story idea and creating their own characters, students will be encouraged to use their imaginations to complete the story arc and become an author themselves! The workshop will be adapted to suit the age range of each group.
